At The Chamberlin Group, we believe strongly in giving back.
Since December 2021, The Chamberlin Group donated over $14,000 to non-profits, supported four charities, and participated in 760 service hours.
Over the years, we have contributed to many charities to help support our local community. We’re excited to work with The Backstoppers, Inc. as part of our 2023 charitable giving. The Backstoppers provide support and financial assistance to spouses and dependents of first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty. By supporting The Backstoppers we hope to show gratitude to first responders and all the services they provide to our community. One of our core values at The Chamberlin Group is to always say thank you.
The St. Louis Post Dispatch Holiday Season’s 100 Neediest Cases, run by United Way, helps families in need during the holiday season. In December 2022, The Chamberlin Group team members adopted a St. Louis family of seven. Our team donated: wrapped gifts and gift cards, as well as monetary donations totaling more than $1300 for rent, utilities, and groceries. This was a perfect fit because “Family First” is one of our core values.
Our 2022 Tax Season Charitable Giving choice was Habitat for Humanity St. Louis. We cannot thank our tax clients enough for their generous donations. We were able to donate $2,000. This donation allowed us to participate in an all-day team-building experience in partnership with Habitat for Humanity St. Louis in September 2022. The Chamberlin Group team volunteered 120+ hours as the landscaping crew of two newly built homes in St. Louis. The recipients of these homes qualify by completing financial literacy programs and will pay the mortgage for their new home. We strive to help as many American families live a confident retirement by providing financial literacy education opportunities within our local communities. We were proud to partner with a cause with values so comparable to our own.
In 2021, our tax clients “loved” donating to The Dolly Parton Imagination Library. The Imagination Library program puts books in children’s hands from birth to age 5. Nationwide, more than 1.3 million children receive a book each month from this outstanding program. With the support of our generous clients, The Chamberlin Group funded approximately 2100 books given to children of the St. Louis Community to enjoy each month!
