Laura has lived in the St. Louis area her entire life. Growing up in House Springs, Laura attended Northwest High school, where she was an active member of the Drama Club and competed in Track and Field. Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Mental Health, and a Minor in Women and Gender Studies from Webster University in 2023, graduating with University Honors and Departmental Honors. She was inducted into the Webster University chapter of Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology in May of 2022, and served as Secretary for the University’s Psychology Club during the 2022/2023 academic year.
Prior to joining The Chamberlin Group, Laura cultivated her skills through a range of professional roles, including merchandising and customer service, being a performer at Six Flags, and a preschool teacher. In all of these roles, she found connecting with others and using her talents to make a difference to be very rewarding, which motivated her to pursue a Psychology degree. She is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others and in the community, and for almost ten years Laura volunteered as a counselor for the Camp Rainbow Foundation.
In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her two children, her family, and her friends. She loves to spend time outdoors, whether it’s in the garden or on a hiking trail. Some of her other interests include reading, crafting, and watching movies and shows. A supporter of the arts, Laura enjoys going to the theatre, especially the Muny in the summer. Her love of traveling has taken Laura to some amazing places, including a visit to Thailand in 2023. She has a German Shorthaired Pointer, a Labrador Mix, and two ginger Maine Coon cats.
